Human Resources Assistant-Bilingual

Position Type: Full Time
Salary: DOE, Hourly
Schedule: Ability to work Monday through Friday. May require overtime availability on occasion.

Must be at least 21 years old and able to get a NV gaming card.
Must have a HS or GED, higher education preferred.
1 or more years of human resources experience mandatory.
Previous experience in supervisory role, payroll, or employee benefits is preferred.
Degree in human resources, business administration or relevant field preferred (equivalent combination of education and experience also considered.)
Verbal & written fluency in both English & Spanish is required.
Excellent skills in both Microsoft Word & Excel are also required.
Must be highly organized.
Position requires extensive employee contact and both verbal and written translations.
Ability to communicate with candidates and clients-on the phone or in person, in an always upbeat and professional manner
Must be able to keep information confidential and able to interact with all levels of field and executive employees.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Must possess outstanding time management and organizational skills, be flexible and have the ability to prioritize projects as they arise.
Must be self- motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
Basic math skills and aptitude

Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to company standards.
Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays etc. as needed
Must pass drug and background screening
Duties and Responsibilities:
HR: Review resumes, schedule interviews and maintain applicant information and files
Assist with orientation and completing new hire paperwork with employees
Prepare and maintain employee personnel files
Help transfer records to new HR database and update information on an ongoing basis
Maintain employee files
Assist the Human Resources staff with preparation of information, reports, analyses and presentation materials for various human resources functions.
Administrative Assistant: General receptionist and administrative duties such as filing, faxing, answering phones, etc. Transcribe correspondence. Prepare new hire employee packets
Monitor the proper completion of paperwork. Develop and maintain excel spreadsheets and reports as needed.
