Description Our Premium Product Scheduling & Installation team at IGT is in search of an individual who excels in projects, planning, seeing the big picture and following through from start to finish. Here's what a day in the life of a Logistics Coordinator looks like...

  • Performs planning and scheduling aspects for premium product installations of equipment, systems and machine conversions and solves problems in resourceful and effective ways; often must schedule unanticipated requests.

  • Creates and administers equipment, packaging and transport schedules for the field installation of IGT products and systems.

  • Conducts ongoing planning based upon sales orders and customers’ logistical requirements, such as lead time, access and truck sizes allowable.

  • Using SAP, creates and administers equipment, packaging and transport schedules for the field installation of IGT products and systems.

  • Tracks and follows-up on installations in accordance with approved schedules.

  • Regularly balances priorities, transport, personnel availability and capacity.

  • Expedites orders on request to assist in meeting unanticipated demand.

  • Posts goods delivered into SAP for billing and tracking

  • Recognizes deviations from semi-routine practices / information and takes or recommends appropriate next steps.

  • Works with Internal and External clients, escalating semi-complex operating issues or requests to gain cooperation at levels of mid-management.

  • And other potential tasks, projects, and duties as assigned by the Field Services management team.

First Year Goals

  • Independently perform and problem solve planning and scheduling aspects for field installations of equipment, systems and machine conversions resourcefully and effectively, including often scheduling of unanticipated requests.

  • Confidently conduct ongoing planning based upon sales orders and customers’ logistical requirements such as lead time, access and truck sizes allowable with minimal supervision.

  • Complete assigned workflows and achieve plans of the Casino Services and Sales Department independently.

  • Able to receive, interpret and transmit semi-routine information requiring considerable explanation or interpretation diligently.

  • Streamline use of SAP to create and administer equipment, packaging and transporting schedules for the field installation of IGT products and systems; systematically track and follow-up on installations in accordance with approved schedules efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in administering scheduling / process flows / production required.

  • Associates Degree or equivalent.

  • Advanced ability to anticipate problems and preemptively develop a wide range of solution alternatives required.

  • Ability to pass a for cause background investigation.

  • Ability to obtain gaming card(s) required; must be 21 years of age.

  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer advanced basic knowledge of / skills in the content areas of:

  • Field installation processes for equipment and systems and machine conversions.

  • Machine shipping logistics.

  • Knowledge of several IGT workflows preferred (e.g., machine and systems installations; machine conversions).

  • Knowledge of several IGT products and their component parts preferred.

  • Proficiency with relevant SAP tools and processes preferred.
