RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the retail store. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store and overseeing security measures. You will hire and schedule staff. You will train the staff on standards of selling, proper fit and superior customer service. You will evaluate, recommend, and implement activities to improve customer service and store performance. In this role, you will maintain an awareness of sales figures, cash tallies, and stock records. You will organize promotions within the store and develop goals for Department Leads and Sales Associates in order to achieve sales results. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will research and resolve customer complaints. You will recommend cost savings measures and assist the Store Manager with monitoring budgeted expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a retail setting. Minimum of 2 years of retail experience required.
* Strong communication and computer skills.
* Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
