This is a full-time, 12-month, administrative faculty position.
Salaries are competitive and commensurate with labor market.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions and commensurate with experience level. Position is contingent upon funding.

Minimum 5 years of proven major gift development experience or the equivalent, preferably in higher education.
Experience in donor qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship or other equivalent/transferable knowledge.
Documented results soliciting and closing major gifts.
The ability to effectively work strategically and creatively with teams of faculty, staff, and volunteers in raising major gifts.
Candidates should possess superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Experience in organizing, writing, and presenting persuasive and visionary gift opportunities.
Ability to articulate UNLV Lee Business School's mission, traditions, excellence, priorities, goals with enthusiasm, energy, creativity, and also the ability to compel others to action.
A strong commitment to personal and professional development.
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
The Senior Director of Development (Sr. DOD), Lee Business School, reports to the Associate Vice President for Development in the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement at UNLV and to the Dean of the Lee Business School. This individual is responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and securing major gifts from alumni, friends, corporations, and foundation in support of the school. The Sr. DOD will create a development plan and implement strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors. This individual will also manage a direct report(s) to support development efforts within the school. We are seeking a knowledgeable professional skilled in fundraising and securing major gifts, who is also measurably successful in building productive relationships with current and prospective donors.
