The Business Analyst III reports to the Manager of the Central Business Unit (CBU) and is the key technical contact. The Business Analyst III performs

moderately-high to highly complex technical tasks by coordinating multiple

system interfaces to achieve business requirements. This position interfaces with system architects and corporate staff on systems and programming

requirements, projects and supports resolution of issues. The Business Analyst III is the resident expert on applications used within the CBU.

This role does not have direct reports.


  • Serves as interface and technical expert regarding all Davita

  • Medical Group systems for which CBU has associated

  • responsibilities.

  • Interfaces with system architect to update system functions, such as but not limited to claims queues, audit queues, medical referral rules, claims rules, data transmissions, file transfers, new system implementations, system upgrades and enhancements, and multiple system interfaces.

  • Performs system integrity audits on provider adds/changes, plan builds, eligibility, encounter reporting, contract changes and

  • additions.

  • Completes regularly scheduled health plan reporting and revises reports based on requirements.

  • Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the scope of job.

  • Contributes to and supports DMG’s quality initiatives by planning, communicating and encouraging team and individual

  • contributions towards continuous improvement efforts.

  • Performs other work related duties and responsibilities as

  • directed.


  • 3-5 years working in a healthcare environment, managed care

  • preferred.

  • 5 years claims production system experience, GE IDX preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required.


  • General knowledge of project management principles

  • Knowledge of current compliance legislation

  • Strong interpersonal skills required

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required

  • Strong problem-solving skills required
