Valley Electric Association, Inc. (VEA) has an immediate opening forEXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT (EVP) OF CUSTOMER SERVICEto work in our headquarters located in Pahrump, Nevada.

TheEVP of Customer Serviceis responsible for leading the customer service function by providing direct management of all consumer accounting, billings, collections, correspondence, memberships, subscriptions, deposits, system readings, mailing lists and files.

Requirements

Education and Experience:Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, management, information systems, marketing or related field required and ten plus years of related customer service office experience with at least seven of those years in a supervisory or management position; or the equivalent combination of education and experience that satisfies the requirements of this position. Customer service and management experience must have had an emphasis on accounting responsibilities and dealing with the public. Other fields of study will be considered in conjunction with relevant experience and background, including relevant industry or NRECA supervisory training and/or experience and knowledge of broadband services.

Job Knowledge:Knowledge of office practices with a thorough understanding of office procedures, equipment, administrative functions. Primary skill areas would include accounting, billing, budgeting, data processing. Experience with the NISC accounting, customer information system software, for both electrical and broadband services, is required.
